About
I am a technology leader and solution architect specialising in enterprise digital platforms, AI-enabled software delivery and large-scale transformation. I work at the intersection of architecture, product strategy, engineering and customer collaboration, helping organisations turn complex business challenges into scalable platforms, effective teams and measurable results.
Thirteen-plus years in enterprise software, from developer to technical lead, business analyst, pre-sales and solution architect, across telecom, OSS/BSS, digital commerce and enterprise platforms. Today I lead engineering around Digital Marketplace solutions and connect product development with customer delivery. Often I am the one who brings architects, engineers, executives and customers into one room and leaves with a direction.
I am drawn to the systems where commerce meets technology: catalogs, ordering, subscriptions, billing, cloud consumption and partner integrations, built event-driven, integrated with discipline, and run with FinOps in mind.
AI is the main theme of my work now: not isolated experiments but AI across the whole delivery lifecycle, from requirements to production support, with agentic systems, reusable skills, RAG, MCP and human-governed automation. The point is not another chatbot. It is harder problems solved, fewer handovers and people owning outcomes end to end.
As a leader I combine strategy with hands-on work: building teams, coaching specialists, and moving between an executive roadmap, an architecture review and a stubborn delivery problem in the same day.
Outside work: marathons, books, and writing and recording music. I take specialty coffee seriously enough to have built myself an AI assistant for cupping. Same habit everywhere: understand how it works, practise it properly, find my own way to do it better.

How I work
- Outcomes over technology. The interesting point is where technology stops being a concept and starts solving a real business problem.
- Evidence over opinion. Measurements, documentation and prototypes decide, not seniority.
- Simple over clever. The simplest architecture that meets the requirements, and nothing speculative.
- Ownership over handovers. AI and good architecture should give people end-to-end responsibility for a result, not add another queue.
- Decisions written down. Every significant decision recorded with its alternatives, so the next architect sees why, not only what.
Tarnbeck
Alongside my architecture work I founded Tarnbeck, my Berlin-based home for ideas, solutions and transformations, built to support your evolution. Its first product is Markdown Companion, a Chrome extension that renders the Markdown produced by AI tools as a clean, readable document. The coffee tasting assistant is growing up there too.
